Role Overview: As a Customer Service Healthcare Representative, you will be the frontline support for our healthcare customers in Idaho. Your role is to assist members with inquiries related to their insurance plans, ensuring they receive accurate information and empathetic service. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls from healthcare members, addressing a variety of insurance-related questions and concerns. - You will review and process change requests on member insurance plans with attention to detail. - You will provide clear explanations of healthcare benefits and coverage options. - You will document all interactions accurately in the customer management system. - You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex member issues. - You will maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - You are proficient with computer systems and able to learn new software quickly. - You demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with sensitive healthcare matters. - You have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with healthcare insurance plans or medical terminology. - Bilingual skills, especially in Spanish. - Previous experience in a call center environment. - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and compliance.
