Role Overview: As a Customer Service Healthcare Representative, you will be the frontline support for healthcare-related inquiries, assisting members with insurance plan reviews, changes, and other healthcare service needs. Your role is vital in ensuring a positive experience for our customers by providing accurate information and empathetic support. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls from members regarding their healthcare insurance plans. - You will assist customers with detailed reviews and change requests on their insurance coverage. - You will provide clear and accurate information about healthcare benefits and policies. - You will document member interactions and update records promptly. - You will resolve customer issues efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach. - You will collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex cases. - You will stay informed about healthcare regulations and company policies. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction. What You Bring: - You bring at least 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - You have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. - You possess the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. - You are comfortable using computer systems and CRM software. - You demonstrate empathy and patience when dealing with customers. - You have a high school diploma or equivalent; additional healthcare certifications are a plus. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare call center environment. - Knowledge of insurance terminology and healthcare regulations. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
