What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls from members regarding their healthcare insurance plans and benefits. - You will review and process change requests on member insurance plans accurately and efficiently. - You will provide detailed explanations of healthcare coverage options and answer member questions. - You will document all interactions and maintain accurate records in compliance with company policies. - You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary. - You will stay updated on healthcare regulations and company procedures to provide current information. - You will demonstrate empathy and professionalism in every customer interaction. - You will contribute to team goals by meeting performance metrics and quality standards. What You Bring: - Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. - Proficiency in using customer service software and Microsoft Office applications. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion. - Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in a healthcare call center environment. - Knowledge of insurance terminology and healthcare regulations. - Bilingual abilities, especially in Spanish. - Certification in customer service or healthcare-related fields.
