Role Overview: As a Bilingual Customer Service Healthcare Representative, you will play a crucial role in assisting customers with their healthcare-related inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages will help bridge gaps and ensure that all members receive accurate and compassionate support. What You'll Do: - You will handle inbound calls from healthcare members statewide, addressing a variety of inquiries and concerns. - You will review and process detailed requests for changes to member information and healthcare plans. - You will provide clear explanations of healthcare benefits, coverage options, and policies. - You will document all interactions accurately in the system to maintain up-to-date member records. - You will collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and escalate when necessary. - You will maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies. - You will use your bilingual skills to assist non-English speaking members effectively. - You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on common member issues. What You Bring: - Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in healthcare or insurance. - Proficiency in English and Spanish (or another relevant language) with excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism. - Familiarity with healthcare terminology and insurance processes is a plus. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, call center environment. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems or CRM software. - Previous work experience in a bilingual healthcare call center. - Knowledge of North Carolina healthcare regulations and policies. - Additional language skills beyond the required bilingual proficiency.
