In support of our client, a leader in automotive OEM, we are seeking an experienced Accounting Data Analyst located in Vance, AL. This is a long-term contract opportunity. JOB SUMMARY This position is responsible for leading digitalization and process transformation initiatives within Finance & Controlling, including coordination with other North America entities and shared service centers. RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead digitalization, transformation, and accounting-related initiatives to support the achievement of Finance’s target operating model. • Develop, drive, and support Finance digital transformation projects, including technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and custom applications. • Design and implement fit-for-purpose digital solutions aimed at enhancing operational efficiency across Finance functions. • Analyze and improve existing internal business processes, ensuring scalable implementation across all supported affiliates. • Maintain and enhance current digitalization initiatives to ensure continued value delivery to the Finance and Accounting teams. • Responsible to support financial activities including month-end closing, analysis, reconciliation, reporting of general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, including maintaining audit quality documentation. • Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. • Perform safe work practices and participate in trainings and safety programs in a positive and proactive way by following safety rules, procedures, regulations, standards, and laws. • Report all unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and injuries to supervisor or Human Resources. • Work safely 100% of the time. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Engineering/Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related area or equivalent of education and experience. • Co-Op/ internship and/ or up to 2 years' professional experience in Finance and/or Accounting area, data science, data analyst • Knowledge of RPA and/or Blue Prism, PowerBI, Power Automate (cloud and Desktop), Power Apps, Microsoft Office 365 products. • SAP Experience and Project Management preferred ResourceTek offers industry leading compensation and full benefits that include paid holidays and PTO, group medical, dental, and vision, as well as 401k and Flexspend.
