As a Senior Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, specializing in Prophet 21 (P21), you will leverage advanced technical expertise and a deep understanding of business processes to lead complex P21 initiatives. This role involves critical analysis, design, and implementation of system configurations, integrations, and enhancements that strategically impact multiple departments. You will lead efforts to optimize P21, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, driving efficiency, and fostering continuous improvement across key business functions. Acts as a liaison between the business, operating organizations, and IT. Is responsible for the collection, analysis and documentation of customer processes and requirements. Optimizes customer work processes through participation in business planning, needs analysis, and business risk assessment by leading process redesign and consulting with users on how to best support the business through the effective use of technology. Is involved in the buy vs. build decision and in all phases of the systems/applications development life cycle. Has a solid understanding of the customer's business processes, supporting applications, key drivers of success, and direction of their processes. Actively identifies new technological opportunities that will help achieve incremental or improvements in business processes. JOB DUTIES: Lead the customization and configuration of Prophet 21 (P21) using Dynachange for business rules, screen designs, menus, and advanced UI elements, ensuring alignment with strategic business requirements. Architect, develop, and maintain advanced portals utilizing Report Studio/Info Maker, integrating them seamlessly within the P21 environment to enhance business intelligence capabilities. Design, develop, and optimize robust SQL Stored Procedures, SQL Views, and manage SSMS processes to support complex data operations and reporting needs within P21. Drive the design and implementation of critical integrations between P21 and various third-party systems (e.g., banking platforms, Concur), ensuring data integrity and efficient process flow. Lead and manage ERP upgrades, including comprehensive testing, debugging, and deployment strategies, to minimize disruption and ensure system stability and performance. Collaborate strategically with diverse business stakeholders to identify systemic process gaps, translating complex business needs into scalable and sustainable P21 solutions. Develop detailed functional specifications and technical documentation that guide development efforts and ensure clarity and accuracy for complex system changes and new implementations. YOU MUST HAVE: 6-8 years of progressive experience in ERP systems analysis, deployment, and development, specifically with Prophet 21 (P21). Demonstrated expertise in P21 customization tools including Dynachange (Business Rules, Screen Designs, Pop-up Designer, Tabs). Proficiency in SQL Stored Procedures, SQL Views, and SSMS for advanced database management and reporting. Proven experience designing and implementing integrations between ERP systems and external applications. Strong functional understanding of core business processes such as Order to Cash, Purchasing, Inventory, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, and Finance. Experience with P21 Web Version deployments and support. Familiarity with Report Studio/Info Maker for portal development and business intelligence. Experience in developing and maintaining PowerShell scripts for system automation. Track record of influencing strategic decisions through effective technical and business communication.
