Position Overview The Residential Property Manager + Business Development Specialist is responsible for managing a portfolio of single-family homes while building strong relationships with property owners, prospective clients, tenants, and vendors. This role includes the traditional responsibilities of a Property Manager as outlined in our current operations, plus strategic outreach and growth activities that support portfolio expansion. Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Management Duties Duties include, but are not limited to: • Showing rental properties and coordinating showings • Processing rental applications and conducting applicant screenings • Executing lease documents, renewals, and addendums • Performing move-in, move-out, and periodic property inspections • Clear and timely communication with owners, tenants, and vendors • Coordinating maintenance requests and managing vendor work • Financial oversight including rent collection, invoicing, and statement review • Marketing and advertising rental listings • Ensuring compliance with all state, city, and local laws • Maintaining accurate documentation within company systems and software (AppFolio experience is a plus) Business Development Duties • Conducting outreach to prospective property owners in the community • Networking with Realtors, investors, and local partners to generate leads • Representing RentSource Corp at community events and industry functions • Supporting marketing initiatives, social media presence, and online reputation • Conducting rental analysis and management presentations for prospective clients • Maintaining follow-up and tracking metrics in lead management systems • Collaborating with leadership on growth strategies and lead conversion efforts Qualifications • Prior property management experience: Minimum 1 year (Recommended) • CA Real Estate License: Active (Required) • Strong written and verbal communication skills • High level of professionalism, organization, and follow-through • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Interest or experience in sales, networking, or business development is a plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • Property Management: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: • CA Real Estate License (Preferred) Work Location: In person
