3+ years of solar or related construction experience, leadership skills, understanding of solar system components, valid driver’s license, and ability to manage crews.
We’re seeking a hands-on Solar Construction Foreman to lead field crews on commercial and utility-scale solar projects across Indiana. In this role, you’ll oversee daily on-site operations, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and coordinate closely with the Project Manager to keep projects on schedule and within quality standards. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and supervise installation crews on commercial/utility-scale solar projects • Oversee site safety, toolbox talks, and compliance with OSHA and company standards • Coordinate daily tasks, materials, and equipment needs • Read/interpret construction plans and ensure work meets engineering specs • Track progress, report updates, and flag issues to the Project Manager • Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members • Support QA/QC and final commissioning activities Requirements: • 3+ years of solar or related construction experience; leadership or foreman experience preferred • Strong understanding of racking, modules, electrical balance-of-system, and sitework • Ability to manage crews, schedules, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel to job sites within Indiana Job Type: Full-time Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour Work Location: In person
