Full Description

Job Description: • Design, develop, and build frontend and backend features for customer experiences that enable energy-saving automation • Serve as the technical owner of critical product experience flows • Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product management teams • Work across the stack, including TypeScript/React, Python, Nx, PostgreSQL, Celery, AWS/GCP, Ubuntu, Apache, Redis, Git, and Jira • Implement UI and API monitoring tools • Proactively monitor performance and stability • Participate in regular team updates, standups, one-on-ones, and peer code reviews Requirements: • 4+ years of industry experience building fullstack software services • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, or demonstrated experience in the software industry • Experience building features for scale and performance using scalable APIs, REST frameworks, component libraries, and UI design/token systems • Strong UI development experience • Proficiency with React or other modern UI frameworks • Strong SQL skills • Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, Redshift, and MongoDB • Proficiency in one or more of TypeScript, Python, Java, PHP, and Ruby • Ability to work through ambiguity • Excellent problem-solving skills • Attention to detail • Experience with Remix/React Router (bonus) • Experience with scalable distributed data processing (bonus) • Experience with AWS Lambda/cloud functions, pub/sub, and Prefect tools (bonus) • Experience with cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK (bonus) • Experience in the electric power industry (bonus) • Experience working with external partners (bonus) • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa sponsorship Benefits: • Target annual bonus of 10% of base salary • Participation in long-term incentive programs tied to company growth and performance • Fully remote work environment • Home office set-up allowance • No pre-set vacation limits • Parental leave benefits • Health and wellness benefits • 401(k) plan with employer contributions • Opportunity for learning and growth • Work-life balance
