Take the leap and enhance both your personal and professional life! This role is a member of the Mortgages team within the American Airlines Credit Union. The position is responsible for the entire second mortgage lending activity and supports the Business Services Group on an as-needed basis with projects and daily tasks for the Credit Union. Key Responsibilities: • Manage a team of loan officers and credit closers • Work directly with staff to ensure that loans are processed in a timely and efficient manner and closed in accordance with established Credit Union policies • Handle escalated issues related to Home Equity processing • Recruit and train new staff, as well as mentor for top performance, providing guidance, recommending, and implementing training and development strategies • Process Credit Union employee loan requests • Perform data analysis and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production and financing reports • Provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements • Collaborate with Credit Union branch staff to ensure seamless production and quality member service • Aid in the implementation and support of Credit Union systems relevant to processing home equity loans • Develop and maintain working relationships with vendors crucial to the home equity loan process • Participate in product development, business growth, and marketing strategies • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory disclosures • Review requests for accuracy and payment • Plan and prepare accurate HMDA reporting • Review and maintain state and county closing record requirements • Manage rate locks • Support the Business Services Office as needed • Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • Minimum 5 years of mortgage lending experience; preferably with Home Equity loan origination and processing • Preferred experience with Episys • Prior management or leadership experience • Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership skills and knowledge of RESPA rules and department functions • Ability to demonstrate exceptional people management and employee engagement skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and function as an integral part of a team What We Offer: • Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including health, dental, and vision plans • Retirement plans, such as 401(k) and company contributions • Vacation time, including vacation days, public holidays, and sick days • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing confidential counseling and support • Travel benefits, including free or discounted flights for employees and their families • Profit-sharing program • Life insurance and disability insurance • Tuition assistance and reimbursement programs • Employee discounts on various products and services • Wellness programs promoting health and well-being • Flexible work schedule and remote work options Ready to Apply?
