About the Role As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients have a positive experience while resolving their accounts in a timely manner. You will be the primary point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service, and addressing their concerns with compassion and respect. Key Responsibilities Respond to patient inquiries and resolve their concerns in a timely and professional manner. Provide accurate and up-to-date information about patient accounts, billing, and insurance. Work closely with patients to resolve their issues, ensuring a positive customer experience. Adhere to set schedules and handle time standards to ensure high-quality service delivery. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve patient issues and improve overall patient satisfaction. Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems and software. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable: An Associate or Bachelor's Degree. Previous experience working in a healthcare organization or revenue cycle environment. Knowledge of healthcare operations, billing, and insurance processes.
