JOB SUMMARY. The Sales Representative primary role is to provide strategic sales support to the ASEAN sales team, channel partners and customers. This position is responsible for sales, application and product training. In addition, they will provide product demonstrations, sample creation, solution development and representing the company at dealer and market sales events. A high level of written and verbal communication is essential. This role will report market, channel, customer, product and other information from the region to ASEAN sales management and client's HQ staff to benefit general understanding and improve overall performance of the team. The role will require frequent travel expected to average 50% of the time. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES Sales training. Conducting training sessions, both formal and informal, to provide partners and staff with the latest product knowledge and best practices. Maintain a high level of channel partner`s level of product and workflow expertise. Technical Support The Tech Sales Representative manages daily sales requests and inquiries for specific countries and regions and respond quickly and appropriately. Knowledge Acquisition of Products and Workflow-Related Devices and Software Understanding the features and functions of the products Learning about devices and software that necessary to optimize workflows Application Development Creation of new and improved workflows, samples and applications for the products. Promotion of innovation by incorporating new technologies and trends Build relationships with local suppliers such as media and materials vendors. Required Skills and Experience. Basic troubleshooting and logical questioning skills Ability to present to a small to medium number of sales staff and partners. Ability to create and present training on its products and workflows. Technical understanding and training skills are essential Excellent communication skills, ability to work smoothly with internal and external stakeholders Qualifications. Must be fluent in English and confident in communicating in a business environment WORKING CONDITIONS. Depending on the situation, this role may require travel to ASEAN countries or Japan for approximately half of the month. Working from home will be required. The start date is January 2025. This position does not involve product development.
