• Position:VP of Revenue Strategy • Work Type:100% Remote - USA • Travel:Up to 50% travel for meetings, leadership development, community engagement, and market-related activities • Job Type:Manager Level, Full-Time, Permanent • Base Salary: $190K - $210K (Commensurate with experience, qualifications, and market alignment) • Bonus:Up to 35% Annual incentive plan tied to performance metrics • Leadership & Team Structure:This position reports to SVP of Revenue Strategy. • Direct Reports:A team of 4-6 Area Directors of Revenue Strategy - all are 100% remote • Hotel Portfolio:Oversight of multiple Area Directors of Revenue Strategy for hotels across the United States and Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) region. Ability to effectively support and adapt to the operational, sales, and strategic needs of hotels throughout the portfolio. Position Summary:The Vice President of Revenue Strategy leads the Revenue Strategy function across a diverse hotel portfolio, providing strategic direction, oversight, and development for Regional and Area Directors of Revenue Strategy. The role oversees the development and execution of pricing, inventory, distribution, and demand management strategies, ensures consistent application of revenue management best practices across the portfolio, and leverages market intelligence and competitive insights to identify revenue opportunities. The Vice President serves as a senior revenue strategy advisor to ownership groups and corporate executives, delivering property-specific insights, performance reviews, and data-driven recommendations that support informed business decisions. The role oversees the development and execution of pricing, inventory, distribution, and demand management strategies; analyzes market trends, competitive dynamics, and revenue opportunities; and ensures consistent application of revenue management best practices across the portfolio. Additionally, this position leads forecasting, budgeting, RFP support, owner reporting, and revenue performance reviews while coaching and developing Regional and Area Directors of Revenue Strategy, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement in alignment with Remington's core guiding principles: Be Ethical, Profitable, Innovative, Tenacious, and Engaging. Key Responsibilities • Lead revenue strategy and performance across a portfolio of hotels throughout the Americas region (CALA 30%; USA 70%). • Oversee and develop Area Directors of Revenue Strategy, ensuring consistent execution of revenue management best practices, strategic decision-making, and performance standards. • Establish portfolio-wide revenue strategy governance, pricing disciplines, and revenue optimization frameworks while allowing flexibility for market-specific conditions. • Serve as a senior revenue strategy advisor to Ownership, Operations, Sales, Marketing leadership, and corporate executives. • Present revenue performance, market insights, strategic initiatives, and business outlooks to ownership groups and executive leadership on a regular basis. • Drive RevPAR Index (RPI), market share, and revenue growth through effective pricing, inventory management, distribution strategy, and business mix optimization. • Lead portfolio forecasting, budgeting, reforecasting, and performance review processes to support achievement of revenue and profitability goals. • Monitor competitive positioning, pricing integrity, rate parity, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities. • Translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for stakeholders across the organization. • Champion innovation, process improvement, and effective utilization of revenue management systems, analytics, and reporting tools. • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional development within the Revenue Strategy organization. • Lead by example through Remington's guiding principles: Be Ethical, Profitable, Innovative, Tenacious, and Engaging. • Participate in companywide initiatives, executive presentations, and other strategic projects as assigned. Requirements: • 10+ years of Revenue Management Experience • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience • Ability to build relationships among team members and across brand, corporate and property • Knowledge about various Revenue Management systems, processes, and support resources • Effective communication and presentation skills • Experience collaborating with ownership, upper management, and corporate executive team • Strong Excel Skills • Travel required as needed • Attention to details with strong organizational and efficient time management skills • Consistent professional attitude and behavior with effective listening and strong communication skills • Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) and able to travel up to 60%. • Ability to satisfy the legal requirements for employment within the jurisdiction • Experience managing an international portfolio is required • Bilingual: English and Spanish.
