Monday - Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm (NO WEEKENDS!) 10 Paid Holidays Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co. is a world leader in the manufacture of fire sprinklers and related system valves as well as a major distributer of a full line of fire sprinkler system components and fabricated piping solutions to the fire sprinkler industry since 1920. Our Dallas Warehouse is looking for a Driver to load and unload a delivery vehicle at the distribution center and at the delivery site. They are also responsible for the following: • Operates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and prepare material/documentation for deliveries. • Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker, and other loading/stacking equipment at warehouse and off-site during deliveries • Operates vehicles in compliance with all DOT and Reliable safety requirements • Maintains daily truck inspection and daily trip reports as required by USDOT • Loads and unloads trucks in accordance with DOT Load Securement requirements • Performs pre- and post- trip inspections and logs • Checks tires when loading and unloading trucks • Completes and maintains daily forklift inspection reports • Reports any deficiencies in inventory, equipment, safety issues, or concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor • Acts as backup and/or fill-in Material Handler as needed • Assists Will-Call customers in a courteous and helpful manner • Reports backorders to Customer Service Department • Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor. • Performs other duties as directed Can you: • Work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment? • Work at heights of 30 feet or more? • Drive lift trucks, side loaders, pickers, pallet trucks, and other loading/stacking equipment? • Be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis? • Wear appropriate safety clothing (safety harness, glasses, belts, etc.) and steel toe shoes when needed? • Stand for 80% of the time? • Lift large materials not to exceed 70 pounds? Do you have: • High School Diploma? • 6+ months of warehouse experience? • Minimum of 6 months CDL Class B delivery driving experience? If you answered YES, apply today!
