As part of our high-impact Scout Team, this individual will drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and positioning Rekor as the trusted partner for intelligent infrastructure solutions that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational awareness. As Regional Sales Manager the ideal candidate will be responsible for: * Ability to develop and execute on winning strategy in assigned region * Schedule and lead customer meetings * Uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offerings * Identifying and overcoming roadblocks and/or obstacles while keeping a positive attitude * Ability to resolve product or service-related issues by clarifying the customer's grievance and channeling those issues with Support Teams * Regular client follow-ups to ensure “Total Customer Satisfaction” * Ensuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the Scout products and services that were purchased * Ability to present products and demonstrate their uses * Partner with inside sales and other teams engaged in business within the provided territory * Have superior knowledge of products such as ANPR Mobile Video with the ability to present and demonstrate * Understand customer program goals * Continuous self educate with the competitive landscape * Build 10+ year pipeline accurately and track with Salesforce Ideal Profile: A highly energetic and customer focused individual who is knowledgeable about and/or interested in the transportation technology industry and business savvy to deliver state of the art cutting edge technology solutions for our customers. You bring to the organization the following: * Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or Engineering preferred with 1+ years of commercial sales/public safety experience * OR 3+ years of commercial sales/public safety experience * Outside sales experience selling solutions into commercial organizations preferred * Strong relationship development and management skills * Ability to be a strong self-starter and hunt to identify/create sales opportunities * High-caliber, articulate, and motivated sales professional * Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation & follow up and through) * Excellent negotiation skills * Ability to establish oneself as a trusted advisor * Knowledge of industry trends and best practices a plus * Strong abilities in Google Docs, Microsoft Suite, Salesforce and Tableau * Highly motivated and results-oriented * Preference are candidates who reside within assigned region, work from a home office, and able to travel over 50% of the time   Rekor is an equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V.
