Job Summary: We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience developing APIs and services in Python, is comfortable working with relational and/or NoSQL databases, and understands modern cloud and DevOps practices. You will play a key role in developing robust server-side logic and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using Python. Develop and optimize RESTful / GraphQL APIs for web and mobile applications. Work with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) to design schemas and write efficient queries. Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver end-to-end features. Implement best practices for code quality, testing, and security. Troubleshoot and debug backend issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. Contribute to architecture discussions and help shape technical direction. Write clear technical documentation and participate in code reviews. Required Qualifications: 3+ years of professional experience in backend development. Strong proficiency in Python (e.g., Django, Flask, FastAPI). Solid experience with RESTful API development and integrations. Hands-on experience with SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of Git and collaborative development practices. Strong understanding of scalable system design and performance optimization. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Knowledge of asynchronous programming (Celery, asyncio). Experience with microservices architecture. Exposure to message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS).
