We are an equal opportunity employer. About The Role This role is on-site at Regent Surgical in Franklin, TN. Under the general direction of the Sr. Director of Center Applications, this role provides strategic leadership, vision, and direction for the Center Application Services team. The team supports EMR applications and ancillary software, including HST Pathways, SIS Complete, Provation Apex, Efferent Health, and other related systems. The ideal candidate is a dynamic leader and excellent communicator with proven expertise in project management and a strong focus on both customer satisfaction and team development. This role is responsible for managing and mentoring technical and support staff, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization to define and implement enhancements and solutions. Key responsibilities include planning, implementation, and configuration of application systems, as well as the design and development of workflows, integrations, and ongoing system maintenance. What You'll Do • Strategic Leadership & Team Development • Provide guidance, leadership, and mentoring to the Center Applications team. • * Develop and implement training plans and processes; facilitate training sessions as needed. • Manage team performance by reviewing, approving, and allocating work assignments. • Lead process improvement initiatives through user group participation and feedback analysis. • Project & Application Management • * Lead center application projects, overseeing requirements, development, validation, and ongoing maintenance. • Plan, develop, and supervise system, and process projects using established project management tools and methodologies. • Coordinate and track customer service requests and helpdesk support operations. • Plan project materials, labor, timelines, and objectives to ensure successful delivery. • Budget & Vendor Oversight • * Prioritize and manage team budget planning; track and report annual expenditures. • Serve as the primary liaison with third-party vendors; manage vendor relationships, contract negotiations, licensing, and service level agreements. • Experience with multiple vendor environments and health system implementations (e.g., Epic, Meditech, Cerner). • Center Engagement & System Analysis • * Conduct site assessments and discovery for new and existing partners to evaluate center needs. • Analyze computer information systems, workflows, and support structures to recommend improvements. • Support new business diligence efforts and contribute to onboarding processes. • System Design, Standards & Documentation • * Define and prioritize system enhancements, patches, and updates in collaboration with stakeholders. • Develop and maintain playbooks, procedures, and system documentation. • Establish and monitor compliance with system standards and applicable regulations. • Develop structures and contracts for system support, maintenance, and security. • Perform quality assurance at both technical and procedural levels. • Innovation & Communication • * Explore emerging technologies and trends for applicability within center operations. • Communicate effectively across centers and with technical/user groups to define application solutions and system requirements. • Train end users on supported applications and ensure adoption of best practices. • Compile data, perform analysis, and present written oral reports to leadership. • Other Duties • * Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support the evolving needs of the organization.
