To learn more about our purpose and values, visit our career site at https://careers.reece.com/us/ Purpose The Inventory Control Analyst will support regional store networks on maintaining and optimizing ERP systems to effectively manage service levels and OPEX, both of which are measured against organizational goals (ABC In-Stock Rate & Inventory Days on Hand). The Inventory Control Analyst will be responsible for immediately actioning critical items to drive business operations continuity along with leading training of network leadership and maintaining backend settings to drive long term results. Key Responsibilities • Provide system expertise for ERP management: System maintenance includes purchasing cadences, purchasing targets, minimums/maximum management, inventory replenishment points, lead times, vendor settings, etc. • Serve as Project SME (Subject Matter Expert): Demonstrate complete understanding of Inventory Management and Purchasing functions in ERP (Eclipse / Mincron) to effectively maintain system and drive projects forward. • Manage procurement in assigned network region: Manage and follow up on critical in-bound material (purchases and transfers) to guarantee service level protection for end-customers. • Provide efficient and economical Inventory Leveling: Support stores in redistributing excess and non-moving stock to stores that sell the material. • Provide Reverse Logics Support: Aid network region in identifying and actioning (through vendor management team) opportunities to return excess and non-moving product. • Execute Strategic Purchasing: Support assigned network region in placing purchases for critical stock or maximizing discounts to increase margins. • Complete miscellaneous projects as needed: Serve as Project SME for Inventory Management for Store Openings, Relocations, and Closures along with Inventory Management of product range obsolescence, transitions, and rollouts.
