What You’ll Do As a DSP, you will support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving the highest possible quality of life. You will promote their safety, well-being, independence, and personal goals while serving as their advocate. Essential Responsibilities • Follow and support daily routines according to each client’s Individual Program Plan (IPP) • Participate in developing and supporting IPP/ISP goals • Maintain a clean, healthy, and safe living environment • Facilitate social, recreational, and community activities • Assist with personal care (grooming, toileting, dressing, hygiene) • Prepare meals and assist with clean-up • Transport clients using company vehicles as needed • Report incidents and communicate daily with administrators • Perform other duties as assigned Education & Experience Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent • At least 1 year of personal or professional caregiving experience • Preferred: experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or mental health needs • DSP Certificate (Year 1 & 2) and CPI training • Preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire • First Aid/CPR • Preferred or willing to obtain within 30 days • Must be at least 21 years old • Valid California Driver’s License • Must pass all pre-employment screenings Physical Requirements • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions Remote Work: No — this is an in-person role.Ready to Apply?
