Company Description RedLine is a firefighter owned and operated business dedicated to helping first responders by professionally cleaning and inspecting personal protective equipment in accordance with NFPA 1851 standards. We verified and certified by UL. Using our Mobile Extraction Unit®, we can clean more than 35 sets of turnout gear a day. Our services are performed directly at your station or base to ensure convenience and compliance with safety standards. Role Description This is a part-time role for a Technician located in Moorestown, NJ. The Technician will be responsible for repairing personal protective equipment using NFPA 1850 standards. Day-to-day tasks include operating the Mobile Repair Unit®, performing meticulous inspections, documenting the processes, and handling any repairs identified. Other duties include maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. This job is often performed onsite, at our customers firehouses by way of our Mobile Repair Unit®. Qualifications • Experience working as a seamstress or tailor. • Ability to handle repairs using commercial a grade sewing machine, a heat press, and a button press. • Knowledge of NFPA 1850 standards and experience in inspecting and repairing protective equipment. • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills. • Good communication skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Physical ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and materials. • Relevant experience in a similar role is a plus.
