Lead and develop consulting projects, generate industry thought leadership, and grow a global team in the life sciences sector.
Requires 10+ years in management consulting or strategy in life sciences, with proven sales, client management, and leadership skills, plus industry-specific expertise.
Job Description: • Responsible for securing profitable business through sourcing, selling, and leading projects • Design novel and innovative solutions for clients • Generate thought leadership to capitalize on industry trends • Develop and maintain a high performing global team • Lead firm-building initiatives, individual and team development, and annual strategic business planning activities • Oversee the design, development and implementation of solutions to drive success on every engagement for the client • Collaborate in the continued growth and development of Red Nucleus Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business-related fields; Advanced degree in the Life Sciences, and/or MBA preferred • 10+ years in management consulting, advisory and/or strategy and change management specifically for Life Sciences and Market Access • a strong history of successfully selling, delivering and growing consulting or agency revenues with a track record of sourced sales exceeding at least $3 million in the previous 2-3 years • demonstrable experience and expertise in Value, Access and Evidence • executive presence • exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written • ability to leverage external networks to improve market positioning • identify and pursue new business development opportunities • ability to lead client work and accounts • ability to attract, retain, mentor and grow team members • ability to become a trusted partner to all levels of clients (from Director to C-suite) • must have a collaborative and team-based mind-set • proficiency in CRM software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (demonstrated expertise in Word, PowerPoint and Excel); • must have the ability to manage work-life balance for oneself and be able to mentor team accordingly for themselves • must be capable of leading complex engagements with superior practice-build and client relationship management skills Benefits: • deep knowledge of market access for biopharmaceutical products, particularly in oncology and rare diseases • demonstrated leadership skills within life sciences, healthcare, or other related agency or consulting organizations • ability to drive Business Development independently, with a track record of selling quality projects to clients in the life sciences industry • experience in developing relationships with senior-level managers and executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry • proven ability to manage large-scale and/or multiple projects, meeting deadlines and ensuring high quality outcomes • strong ability to work independently and as part of a team • intellectually curious with an affinity for problem solving and innovation • experience leading multi-disciplinary teams. • excellent presentation and client-facing skills, including leading presentations, chairing meetings, and facilitating workshops • interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues across the organization to accomplish team goals • rigorous attention to detail and accuracy • demonstrated ability in relevant soft skills, including change management, continuous improvement, conflict resolution, and consensus building
