The Red Gate Group is seeking a C-UXS Policy Analyst to join our team and provide critical support to the Office of the Assistant Secretary of War for Special Operations/Low Intensity Conflict (ASW SOLIC) in Arlington, VA. The ASW SOLIC plays a vital role in overseeing Department of Defense (DoD) policies and plans related to special operations, including counterterrorism, information operations, irregular warfare, and counter-unmanned systems (C-UXS). As a C-UXS Policy Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting efforts to monitor, shape, and provide policy guidance for irregular warfare and other strategic activities, particularly in the realm of counter-unmanned systems. You will coordinate and prepare high-level meetings for senior defense officials, draft read-ahead packages, talking points, and meeting summaries, and track the progress of global C-UXS campaigns. Your role will also involve reviewing and overseeing the development of operational concepts and integrating these efforts with various Department of Defense, interagency, and intelligence community partners. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive support to SOLIC’s efforts to guide and oversee irregular warfare and information operations, including preparing high-level meeting agendas, drafting read-ahead packages, and tracking meeting actions. Monitor and assess global C-UXS prior-to-launch campaigns, advising on changes to policy guidance, operational plans, and intelligence activities. Integrate U.S. Special Operations Command’s plans and programs with key stakeholders across the DoD, interagency, and intelligence community by preparing essential briefings, talking points, and summaries for high-level forums. This position is ideal for professionals with a background in defense policy, operational planning, and interagency coordination, who are eager to contribute to strategic efforts in the rapidly evolving field of counter-unmanned systems and irregular warfare. Join us in shaping impactful defense policies and ensuring national security. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS). Active Top Secret clearance.
