Founding Technical Recruiter – AI Infrastructure Startup Remote (U.S.-based preferred) |Full-Time |$100,000–$180,000 + Equity |3+ Years Experience & Role Overview A Series A AI infrastructure startup is hiring its first recruiter to scale a world-class engineering team. This is a high-impact, high-autonomy role focused on sourcing, evaluating, and closing elite technical talent—including Olympiad medalists, top ICPC performers, and exceptional builders from leading startups. You’ll work directly with the founding team to shape hiring strategy, culture, and execution across engineering and future roles. & Key Responsibilities • Own the full-cycle recruiting process for technical roles—from sourcing to closing • Evaluate highly technical candidates with credibility and precision • Build and manage candidate pipelines with a focus on quality and speed • Collaborate with founders on hiring strategy and team composition • Expand recruiting scope to include non-technical roles as the company grows • Represent the company with clarity, energy, and vision in candidate conversations & Ideal Candidate • 3+ years of recruiting experience focused on engineering roles (flexible for exceptional operators) • Proven success recruiting elite technical talent • Strong technical literacy and ability to engage with deeply technical candidates • Established network in the startup and engineering community • Track record of independently running full-cycle recruiting processes • Excellent communication and closing skills • Preference for in-office candidates; remote possible for standout profiles & Compensation Benefits • $100,000–$180,000 base salary • Significant equity package for true ownership • Direct collaboration with the founding team • High autonomy and decision-making power • Flexible work setup • Career-defining opportunity to build the engineering org from the ground up & Interview Process • Phone screen • Technical interview • Onsite • Offer extended
