We are searching for an internal Recruitment Consultant for our Executive Search practice based in Calgary. This is a highly visible role with responsibility for research, recruitment, and project management in accordance with specific methodology. The Recruitment Consultant will partner with and assist the Associate Partner in all aspects of the search process including: managing the execution and direction of research; search strategy development; position specification development; target candidate development; candidate interviews, assessment and presentation; referencing; and client management. This is a dynamic role with responsibility for initiating and managing candidate relationships. You will establish and expand your network, using creative techniques to source the best leadership talent for our clients. Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To • Assemble information from the Client or Associate Partner, using industry research and available sources to gain a comprehensive understanding of the Client Company, industry and the position requirements. • Assist in developing position profiles and a focused search strategy. Continually refine the search strategy based on the market or client feedback. • Identify prospective candidates through targeted research, industry sources, relevant prior searches and internal sources. • Outreach to prospective candidates and sources to elicit interest in the opportunity, obtain referrals, and / or collect market feedback. • Qualify prospective candidates against position requirements and key competencies. • Assist Managing Director in writing candidate assessments. • Document all activities using project management tools, maintaining regular progress reports and any other requested information for presentation to Managing Director and Client. • Build enduring relationships and good rapport with candidates and the network in general and maintain awareness of talent in the market. • Maintain the accuracy, quality and integrity of all search information in the RPI Executive Search proprietary database. • Manage multiple search assignments in a timely manner. • Build and maintain effective relationships within all internal staff. • Multi-task. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, outgoing, is comfortable with proactive client contact, with the ability to contribute to a collaborative culture. • Willingness to be professionally challenged and assume other responsibilities as required Your Strengths Include • Personality plus; a people person and a “can do” attitude with a flexible, persuasive, and proactive approach. • Demonstrated initiative and resourcefulness to develop well-planned strategies and achieve goals within tight timelines. • Excellent planning and organizing skills with the ability to "juggle" multiple tasks effectively in a high volume fast paced service environment. • 3+ years’ experience in a business environment. Research and recruitment experience is a definite plus. • Able to analyze business information from a variety of sources and organize large amounts of data into concise summaries. • Excellent management skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels of the organization. • Goal driven, team focused and customer focused.
