Senior / Staff Software Engineer (Infrastructure) - Title of Role: Senior / Staff Software Engineer (Infrastructure) - Location: New York, onsite - Company Stage of Funding: Series B - Government - Office Type: Onsite - Salary: $190K-$220K Company Description We're representing a dynamic company that has developed the only end-to-end AI system tailored for the government contracting sector. What You Will Do - Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using Kubernetes and Terraform. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the deployment and management of applications in cloud environments. - Optimize existing infrastructure for performance and reliability, ensuring high availability and security. - Develop automation scripts and tools in TypeScript to streamline operational processes. - Provide technical support and solutions for infrastructure-related challenges faced by the team. - Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in DevOps and infrastructure management. Ideal Candidate Background - 3+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on infrastructure and DevOps. - Proficiency in Kubernetes for container orchestration and management. - Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform. - Familiarity with programming in TypeScript and implementing automation solutions. - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Preferred - Experience with Pulumi for infrastructure management. - Background in government or defense sectors, particularly in software development. - Knowledge of security protocols and compliance standards relevant to ITAR data handling. Compensation and Benefits The base salary for this role ranges from $190K to $220K, complemented by competitive equity options.
