Lead consumer insights and innovation initiatives to fuel new product development and strategic planning.
Extensive experience in consumer research, innovation leadership, and strategic team management.
Company Overview We are a private team operating in the Bitcoin infrastructure space, focused on solving real-world transaction execution challenges at scale. Our work involves designing trust-minimized settlement frameworks for high-value counterparties. This is not a public-facing initiative. The project is a parallel initiative to serve my other businesses and some of our network within our industry. It uses trustless blockchain and Miniscript for verifiable execution. Optional counterparties include gold, precious metals, high-value commodities, and major fiat currencies (USD, EUR, CHF, GBP, DKK, SEK, CNY, JPY), which are inherently more prone to forgery. Blockstream related previous work experience preferred. Especially, active maintainers of: https://github.com/rust-bitcoin/rust-miniscript https://www.linkedin.com/redir/suspicious-page?url=https%3A%2F%2Fbitcoin%2esipa%2ebe%2Fminiscript%2F https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin Role: Bitcoin Protocol / Miniscript Specialist We are looking for a highly capable Bitcoin protocol engineer to collaborate on the design and implementation of Miniscript-based transaction logic for complex settlement scenarios. This is not a traditional full-time role. Think: Mission-focused Defined problem space High-impact deliverable The primary objective is to architect robust, verifiable spending conditions for large-value transaction flows where safety, fairness, and execution guarantees are critical. Engagement is expected to be: • Project-based engagement with a fixed professional fee, including defined scope delivery and periodic strategic consultation as needed. • Outcome-driven • Potentially ongoing depending on evolution needs Scope of Work • Design Miniscript policies for multi-party transaction scenarios • Model execution paths and failure cases • Ensure adversarial safety and loss-resistance • Optimize for clarity, verifiability, and operational practicality • Collaborate on implementation where necessary The work sits at the intersection of: Bitcoin Script Miniscript Transaction safety Multi-party coordination Ideal Background We care about demonstrated capability — not titles or pedigree. Relevant signals include: • Deep understanding of Bitcoin Script and transaction mechanics • Practical experience with Miniscript or policy descriptors • Comfort reasoning about adversarial environments • Experience designing safe multi-party spending conditions • Familiarity with PSBT flows and signing policies • Open-source contributions are welcome but not required Fluency in Rust, C++, or similar systems languages is helpful. Who This Is For This role is best suited for someone who enjoys solving hard, high-stakes, bounded problems with real-world consequences (Institutional digital asset settlement infrastructure, Cross-border capital coordination frameworks, Treasury restructuring and capital allocation systems, Large-scale asset acquisition and structured transaction design, High-value bilateral financial settlement architecture). Not a corporate environment. Not a long hiring loop. Not a benefits-driven position. We value: Clarity of thinking Security mindset Execution Background is irrelevant. Capability is highly relevant for this position. Engagement Initial engagement will be structured around a defined Miniscript design objective. Future collaboration should follow depending on needs.
