Job Title: Techno-Functional Business Analyst (Capital Markets - Financial Products)Location: Charlotte, NC or New Jersey (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite)Type: Long-Term Contract Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in Capital Markets, PnL, IPV, Reconciliations, and Exception Adjustments.The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams to design, guide, and support the development of valuation and financial control tools. Need to have strong understanding of financial products, valuation methodologies and basic accounting standards Key Responsibilities:Partner with Finance, Product Control, Valuation, and Technology teams to translate business requirements into functional/technical specifications.Lead requirement gathering, process mapping, and solution design for PnL, IPV, Reconciliation, and Exception Adjustment tools.Work closely with Technology teams to validate technical designs, support build cycles, and ensure solution alignment with business needs.Perform functional testing, data validations, and support UAT cycles.Document workflows, data flows, and business rules for valuation and financial control processes.Provide ongoing support, issue triage, and enhancements post go-live. Required Skills & Experience:8-12+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking / Capital Markets domain.Strong understanding of financial products (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Structured Products, etc.).Solid knowledge of valuation methodologies, PnL attribution, IPV processes, and reconciliation frameworks.Good grasp of basic accounting standards relevant to financial instruments.Techno-functional background with the ability to engage effectively with development teams.Experience with data analysis, SQL, and working with complex financial datasets (preferred).Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have:Experience in Finance Transformation or Risk/Finance Technology programs.Knowledge of Agile delivery practices.
