What We’re Looking For • 4+ years of experience as a full-stack engineer, backend focused • Hands-on experience building agentic workflows or LLM-powered tools is a hard requirement - it is required to showcase at least one side project / personal project that uses AI • Comfortable shipping end-to-end product features across frontend, backend, and API orchestration. • Proficient with modern web stack: React, Next.js, Node.js, Supabase, etc. • Proficient with building backend data pipelines and asynchronous jobs • You've built with OpenAI, Claude, or similar model providers. • Strong product intuition—especially around creative tools and UX. • Proficient in English and strong communication skills, low ego, fast iteration mindset. • Remote role, but must be available during Pacific Time hours. What we're NOT looking for • Front end or full stack engineers with little backend experience (backend proficiency is a MUST, all team members are senior backend architects who use AI to generate front end UIs) • Engineers that do not have any personal side projects or portfolio of work (while RSL is everyone's main job, everyone on the team has at least one side project that they can learn from. As a result the team is on the cutting edge of sdk and infra tool usage) • Expectation of a "normal" 9-5 working schedule (we are a startup and at times will require more intensity, within reason. More time spent means our startup is more likely to be successful which is a win for all!) • Engineers that do not use AI in their development or think AI is overrated (it's a hard requirement that all engineers use AI tooling like cursor, claude code, etc because the velocity with such tools is so high, and since we are an AI company, we are perpetual optimists of AI and it's potential) Working at our startup is a huge learning opportunity.
