Full Description

Full Stack Engineer Why this role Join the team behind a high-scale, home-grown messaging platform that powers transactional, lifecycle, and campaign email for multiple product lines. You’ll help drive experimentation, growth, and reliability for a mission-critical channel. Your first major impact: onboard an affiliated consumer brand onto the platform and tailor it to their product needs. What you’ll do: Design & build: high-scale messaging services and APIs in Go; own projects end-to-end from design through production. Ship user-facing tools: in TypeScript/React that improve operator and growth-team workflows. Automate & operate: author AWS Lambdas, event-driven components, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes workloads. Collaborate across orgs: work with product, growth/marketing, data, and security stakeholders; communicate progress and surface risks early. Senior: Go: deep expertise building scalable, maintainable backend services. TypeScript + React: high-quality UI/internal tools. Bash: confident in shell tooling, scripting, and fundamentals for automation and troubleshooting. Mid-Senior (Solid) - DevOps/Platform Serverless & event-driven: building AWS Lambda functions; understanding “lambda architectures” (AWS-Lambda-based services and batch/stream processing), queues, topics, and triggers. CI/CD: designing pipelines with robust testing and progressive delivery. Kubernetes: strong grasp of containerization, manifests/Helm, service mesh basics, and scaling Plus skills (nice to have) Dotfiles/CLI ergonomics Nginx: reverse proxying, caching, TLS/HTTP, performance tuning. Auth flows: OAuth2/OIDC, SAML, SSO, session/token best practices. Email systems: SMTP/MTAs, deliverability, SPF/DKIM/DMARC, bounce/complaint handling.. Messaging queues: Kafka, AWS SQS/SNS, RabbitMQ, or similar. Experimentation/A-B frameworks: feature flags, and metrics pipelines. How you work (soft skills that matter here) Ownership: given an ambiguous goal, you run with it, clarify, deliver, and iterate. Navigation: you move through large orgs and multiple systems/codebases to unblock work. Finish strong: you start tasks and finish them, documented, tested, observable, and maintainable.
