Job Summary Job Description What will you do? Provide day-to-day trade support for the NY Discretionary Lending desk Analyze and report collateral Create and book trade tickets and monitor trade settlement Assist with the margin call processes Communicate trade details and margin requirements with external clients Liaison to Funding, Operations and Finance teams Account setup and maintenance Maintain and create reporting for the desk Daily PNL reconciliation and end of day PNL reporting Develop strong working knowledge of Discretionary Lending’s products and services Proactively identify operational risks/ control deficiencies in the business Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies and risks that you identify to your line manager and the relevant risk and control functions on a timely basis What do you need to succeed? Undergraduate Degree (BA/BS) Strong analytical and mathematical skills Series 7, 63 upon hire To demonstrate a calm, logical approach to all situations Ability to meet the demands of the Front Office and client Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good attention to detail Can work well as an individual as well as a team Good communication skills Understanding Equities, Fixed Income and basic trading strategies Microsoft Excel What’s in it for you? The expected salary range for this particular position is $110,000 - $130,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs. You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
