Job Description Summary Implement, uphold, and manage the organization's Cloud Management policies, specifications, and infrastructure. Migrate existing on-premise applications to the cloud, debug cloud stacks, and implement new cloud-applications. Manage and perform continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, and cost optimization of the private, public, and hybrid cloud platforms. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and proactive Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator to manage and optimize our Marketing Cloud Engagement platform within a highly regulated financial services and record-keeping environment. This role will be responsible for overseeing the data, audience segmentation, platform configuration, and execution processes within Marketing Cloud to support our Communications team in effectively delivering campaigns across multiple channels. Key Responsibilities Requirements gathering and organization- effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with campaign goals, data architecture, and customer journey strategies Configure and maintain Marketing Cloud components including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder. Manage user roles, permissions, and platform security in alignment with compliance standards. Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to design and execute multi-channel campaigns. Build and optimize customer journeys, triggered sends, and audience segmentation strategies. Ensure seamless integration between Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud. Maintain data hygiene, synchronization, and compliance with financial data privacy regulations (e.g., DOL, ERISA, SEC, FINRA, GDPR) and internal compliance guidelines Monitor Marketing Cloud performance, including campaign metrics, automations data flows, and subscriber engagement through dashboards and reports Provide actionable insights to improve targeting and personalization. Partner with legal and compliance teams to review and approve campaign content and data usage. Manage user access, permissions, and roles within Marketing Cloud Engagement. Maintain system configurations including send classifications, headers/footers, and platform settings. Import and manage data from Salesforce core platform via Marketing Cloud Connect. Create and maintain data extensions, subscriber keys, and preference centers. Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, email opt-out regulations, and financial data privacy regulations (e.g., DOL, ERISA, SEC, FINRA, GDPR). Set up and execute campaigns including one-off sends, automations, and Journey Builder journeys. Configure and apply dynamic content to personalize campaigns. Perform quality assurance checks, testing, and rendering validation before sending. Partner with the Communications team to ensure email campaigns are executed accurately and on time. Engage in Salesforce Administrator activities and duties, to assist Salesforce colleagues in supporting the business, in Service Cloud and other Salesforce related work, such as Core Salesforce platform features, including user management, security settings, and data configuration Required Soft Skills Mindfulness: Precision is critical in managing data, configuring journeys, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams, including marketing, compliance, and IT. Problem-Solving: Proactive in identifying issues and implementing solutions in a fast-paced, regulated environment. Collaboration: Partner with the Marketing team to align campaign strategies with business goals and customer segments. Work closely with the Compliance team to ensure all communications meet regulatory standards. Coordinate with IT and CRM teams to troubleshoot integration issues and maintain data integrity. Participate in cross-functional planning meetings to ensure alignment on timelines, deliverables, and campaign objectives. Adaptability: Comfortable navigating change, learning new tools, and adjusting to evolving regulatory requirements. Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently without compromising quality. Integrity & Discretion: High level of professionalism and confidentiality when overseeing sensitive financial and customer data. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in SQL, AMPscript, and HTML/CSS for email development. Experience with Salesforce CRM and APIs. Qualifications Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Information Systems, or related field. 3+ years of experience administering Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a regulated industry, preferably financial services. Strong understanding of email data management and segmentation. Knowledge of email compliance and data governance best practices. (CAN-SPAM and preference management).
