About the company Our client is building an AI-powered operating system for business aviation. The platform replaces fragmented emails, calls, and spreadsheets with software that coordinates core flight operations, from quoting and scheduling to trip management and payments. The role / why it matters As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will own complex product features from customer discovery and technical design through frontend and backend implementation, launch, and iteration. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for a product-minded engineer who wants to shape how business aviation operators work. What you'll do • Own large-scope projects end to end, working through requirements, architecture, implementation, and iteration. • Build user-facing workflows and backend services across a modern full-stack application. • Work directly with customers to understand requirements, demonstrate features, test workflows, and guide development. • Partner with engineering and product teammates to break down complex operational needs into shippable features. • Make pragmatic architectural decisions that balance speed, quality, and long-term scalability. • Bring customer empathy and business judgment to technical decisions, helping the team prioritize product outcomes. What we're looking for • 8-10 years of hands-on full-stack engineering experience, including substantial work in B2B SaaS startups. • Strong individual contributor experience owning work directly, rather than focusing primarily on management. • Full-stack capability across product UX, React, Next.js, Node.js, and SQL. • Experience building and shipping complex features from requirements through launch. • Comfort working directly with customers and translating their needs into product and engineering decisions. • A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. Bonus points • Experience with AWS or GCP, including serverless architectures. • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines. • Experience mentoring junior developers while remaining a hands-on individual contributor. Compensation and benefits The salary range is $200,000-$240,000, with competitive equity. Location / work model This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco, with three days per week in the office, Tuesday through Thursday. The company is open to visa transfers and new visa sponsorships.
