About the company Our client is an early-stage healthcare technology company building an operational system of record for frontline hospital leaders. Its platform replaces manual administrative work with automated workflows and actionable insights, helping leaders drive organizational change while care teams stay focused on patient outcomes. The company has more than $7 million in contracted value and over 90% daily utilization at its anchor health-system partner. The role and why it matters This Product Lead will own the full customer-to-product loop at a pre-Series A company defining a new category in healthcare operations. You will work directly with both co-founders and the Head of Engineering, translating what chief nursing officers, frontline leaders, and chief information officers need into product that ships quickly. There are no layers between customer insight, product judgment, prototyping, and delivery. What you'll do • Lead customer discovery with health-system executives and frontline operators, then turn ambiguous needs into clear product decisions. • Connect market feedback directly to the engineering roadmap and own the complete product surface. • Personally build, test, and demo prototypes using Figma, Cursor, Replit, v0, and similar AI-assisted tools. • Shape user-facing workflows, backend systems, integrations, and the data models that connect them. • Build a coherent product analytics and instrumentation strategy from the ground up. • Frame product work around customer and business outcomes, not simply features shipped. Requirements What we're looking for • 5 to 10 years of product management experience, including explicit health-tech experience. • A record of shipping as a sole, founding, or highly hands-on product leader in a pre-product-market-fit or early post-product-market-fit startup. • The ability to prototype and demonstrate what you build, not only write requirements for others. • Strong technical fluency across platform architecture, backend tradeoffs, data models, and basic SQL. • Executive presence and customer-facing judgment with hospital and health-system stakeholders. • High ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and an outcome-oriented operating style. • Current unrestricted U.S. work authorization. Bonus points • Experience building product analytics instrumentation from scratch. • Fluency with modern AI-assisted product and prototyping tools. • Experience owning both user-facing product and technical integration surfaces. Benefits • $200K-$225K base salary, with flexibility for exceptional candidates. • Competitive equity with meaningful pre-Series A upside. • Full-time hybrid work in New York, NY. The team works together in the office Tuesday through Thursday. • Candidates must already be based in New York or be willing to relocate. • Visa sponsorship and transfers are not available.
