Role Overview: As a Sales Representative for the North Brunswick and surrounding areas, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction within your territory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our Summit Motor Products branch. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in the North Brunswick territory. - You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets. - You will provide expert product knowledge and support to customers, helping them find the best solutions. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. - You will prepare and present sales proposals and negotiate contracts. - You will track market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. - You will attend industry events and trade shows to network and promote our products. - You will maintain accurate sales records and report on sales performance regularly. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in electrical components or related industries. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships. - Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently. - Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for territory travel. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the North Brunswick or New Jersey sales market. - Technical knowledge of motor products or electrical components. - Previous experience with Summit Motor Products or similar companies. - Bilingual abilities to support diverse customer base.
