Role Overview: As a Sales Representative for the North Brunswick and surrounding areas, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and expanding our customer base. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction within your territory. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of Summit Motor Products by promoting our product lines and services. What You'll Do: - You will develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers in the North Brunswick territory. - You will identify and pursue new sales opportunities to achieve and exceed sales targets. - You will provide product knowledge and technical support to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. - You will prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to customer needs. - You will track market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies. - You will manage account growth by upselling and cross-selling relevant products. - You will maintain accurate sales records and report on sales performance regularly. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in electrical components or related industries. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain customer relationships. - Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently. - Technical aptitude to understand and explain product specifications. - Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management skills. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for territory travel. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working with Summit Motor Products or similar product lines. - Knowledge of the North Brunswick and surrounding market. - Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools. - Background in technical sales or engineering support.
