Role Overview: As a Sales Representative for the North Brunswick and surrounding areas, you will be the key driver of sales growth and customer engagement for the Summit Motor Products branch. Your role is to build and maintain strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and ensure customer satisfaction within your territory. What You'll Do: - You will develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in your assigned territory. - You will manage and grow existing customer accounts while identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. - You will provide expert product knowledge and technical support to customers to help them make informed purchasing decisions. - You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer needs. - You will conduct regular market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities. - You will prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to management. - You will attend trade shows and networking events to promote Summit Motor Products and expand your professional network. What You Bring: - Minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in industrial products or related fields. - Strong understanding of motor products, power transmission, or electrical components. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting customer relationships. - Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets consistently. - Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills. Bonus Points If You Have: - Experience working in the North Brunswick or New Jersey industrial market. - Technical background or training in electrical engineering or related disciplines. - Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools. - Ability to travel within the assigned territory regularly.
