This is your chance to be a part of a new department within rater8, redefining how we use data, AI, and automation in healthcare marketing. We are seeking an intellectually curious, technically skilled, and creatively driven individual to be our Data & Process Analyst. This is a high-impact role where your work will directly transform our proprietary healthcare data into measurable business outcomes. If you thrive in an environment of high ambiguity and self-direction, have a "builder" mentality that makes you execute ideas with minimal oversight, and are passionate about being on the cutting-edge of data analysis and generative AI, this is your platform. We need a problem-solver with a strong foundation in Python and SQL who is ready to pioneer new processes and make their mark from the ground up. What you’ll do Your daily and long-term responsibilities will be driven by high-impact opportunities, requiring creativity, self-direction, and the ability to move through ambiguity. Data Analysis & Reporting • Execute quantitative analysis of large datasets to uncover key market trends, customer behavior patterns, and competitive intelligence to drive business strategy for DataLabs. • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators for our DataLab initiatives, including lead generation metrics and campaign performance. • Work with our data to ensure accuracy and structure, contributing to the analytical models and systems that power our prospect intelligence and industry insights. AI Automation & Marketing Execution (Primary Specialty) • Desire to work toward taking part in the ownership of the end-to-end AI-powered automation workflows. • Implement and maintain API integrations (GPT, Azure OpenAI) within marketing automation tools to scale personalized outreach and reporting. • Translate data-driven insights into actionable assets, including writing clear, compelling Calls-to-Action (CTAs) and coordinating with the web development team. Integration & Implementation: • Serve as a technical resource for other departments, assisting in the design, modeling, and implementation of general business process automation improvements, potentially involving our other systems or workflows. • Assist in testing and validation of newly deployed solutions to ensure they meet both business needs and technical requirements across different teams. • Provide ongoing technical support and updates to documentation as projects evolve and systems change. Project Management: • Willing to lead DataLabs projects from ideation through analytical testing and production deployment, ensuring alignment with measurable business impact. • Proactively engage with stakeholders across departments to identify high-impact opportunities, gather detailed requirements, and present findings, recommendations, and technical documentation. • Support overall project management activities by tracking project progress, risks, and issues, coordinating execution with measurable business impact. • Coordinate the production and delivery timeline for strategic content assets, such as whitepapers and reports, by liaising with data analysts, writers, and marketing teams to ensure data accuracy and timely publication. Process Mapping & Improvement: • Review, analyze, and model business processes and information flows. Develop process maps and flowcharts to represent current and future state workflows, particularly those leveraging AI/automation. • Design and develop production-ready process improvements, focusing on sustainability, scalability, and measurable reduction in business inefficiency. • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, process maps, and data flow diagrams for all workflows and systems. • Other Duties as Assigned What you’ll bring • Entry level 0 - 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Data Analyst, where aptitude and a self-starter mentality were key to success. • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Administration, or Finance. • Technical Proficiency: • Proficiency in Python programming (comfortable writing scripts, working with APIs, and building backend systems) and working knowledge of SQL for data extraction and manipulation are a must. • Experience with or demonstrated willingness to quickly master visual automation/integration platforms (e.g., Make.com, Zapier, Tray.io). • Builder Mentality: A GitHub link and/or ability to provide examples of a project (e.g., from an online community or a personal side project) is strongly preferred, demonstrating your ability to execute creatively, write clean, organized code (or use AI to write it), and set your own parameters. • Self-Direction & Ambiguity Tolerance: A systems thinking mindset and the ability to take in information that is not already documented. You will thrive in an environment with high ambiguity where you can exercise creativity and self-direction. • Nice to have familiarity with basic marketing concepts, including conversion funnels, A/B testing, landing pages, and the purpose of strong Calls-to-Action (CTAs). • Must reside and be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship, and must not currently reside in California. Compensation • The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 – $85,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, and years of relevant experience.
