Rare Patient Voice is recruiting for a Qualitative Research Project Manager to join our team! Are you a qualitative research project management professional with a passion for making a real difference? Rare Patient Voice is expanding, and we're looking for a dedicated professional to join our growing team. As a leader in connecting researchers with patients and family caregivers, our work has a direct and meaningful impact on the medical community and the lives of those affected by rare diseases. In this role, you'll manage projects that help bring the patient's voice to life through qualitative methods, ensuring every detail is handled with care and efficiency. Company Overview: Rare Patient Voice, LLC was founded in 2013 by research industry veteran Wes Michael with a mission to connect patients and caregivers with opportunities to share their opinions with the researchers and companies developing products, treatments, and services to improve lives. RPV is unique in its approach, having been built on a foundation of direct connections and word of mouth. We have assembled a panel of over 100,000 patients and caregivers as a result of attending in-person awareness events, meetings, and conferences, and by working with patient advocacy groups through a robust referral program. We cover more than 1,400 different conditions, both rare and non-rare, and now span the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand. We work with partners throughout the world who help us to find hard-to-reach patients and caregivers to take part in all types of research including market research, health economics outcomes and real-world evidence, user experience/human factors studies, and clinical trials. We know that our patients’ and caregivers’ time is valuable and to date, we have paid them over $10 million dollars for their participation. We work with patients, caregivers, clients, industry partners, and patient advocacy groups to help change healthcare - one Rare Patient Voice at a time! Job Summary Responsible for leading, planning, executing, and overseeing the successful completion of various projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. The Qualitative Research Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that project goals are met while maintaining high levels of quality and customer satisfaction. TheQualitative ResearchProject manager should have an aptitude for or prior experience with business skills, management, budgeting, and analysis. Full-time, usually daytime business hours, occasional weekends. The location: Remote, USA Reports to: Vice President of Field Operations Specific Skills: • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Strong organizational and time management abilities • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in project management tools and software • Problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities • Risk management and mitigation skills • Budgeting and financial management skills • Very proactive and detail-oriented • Process improvement • Excellent project management skills, including prioritization, scheduling, and documentation • Good organizational and time management skills • Able to work without supervision. • Problem-solving skills • Team building and management skills Essential duties associated with this job include: • Develop and implement project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and resource requirements. • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, budgets, and risk management plans. • Identify project stakeholders and facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties. • Lead and manage project teams, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and monitoring team performance. • Monitor project progress, track key milestones, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs. • Identify project risks, develop strategies to mitigate or respond to them, and proactively manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. • Ensure projects are within budget and on schedule while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations. • Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders and senior management and escalate issues as needed. • Adapt to changes in project requirements, priorities, or resources and make necessary adjustments to keep the project on track. • Facilitate the project closure process, including delivering final project deliverables, documenting lessons learned, and evaluating project performance. • Communicate with stakeholders to ensure project alignment with business goals. • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and quality standards. • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Education, Training and Professional Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Project management, business administration, sales, or related fields • 3+ years of experience in a related role • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office • PMP or PMP certification from an accredited organization • Intermediate to advanced proficiency with industry-standard software • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing project budgets Physical Demands: The employee requires the physical demands described here to perform the job's essential functions efficiently.
