CONFERENCE CENTER EVENT PLANNER Salary: $72,000 - $78,000 / Year Job Summary Associates will embrace and maintain Hospitality Core Values - honesty, integrity, responsibility. They will follow all Hospitality Service Codes, interact as team players, take initiative, and remain alert for imaginative approaches to day-to-day tasks. Associates will respond positively to Managers/Supervisors' requests and maintain a professional appearance as per the employee handbook. Flexibility in working hours, including lunch breaks, after hours, weekends, and participating in biannual training sessions, is required. Key Responsibilities Provide a single point of contact for planning and executing meetings and events for property employees and clients. Handle bookings in the scheduling system and maintain knowledge of the technology used at the center. Create and distribute work order documents, provide utilization reports, and assist clients during events. Multi-task with attention to detail, demonstrating exceptional customer service and professionalism. Establish positive relationships with clients through effective communication. Participate in weekly meetings to discuss upcoming events. Ensure all client specifications are met, including space configuration, setup, and food & beverage arrangements. Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for easy access. Coordinate with the Set Up Coordinator to ensure proper space setup and perform room walkthroughs. Ensure all event expectations are met from start to finish, demonstrating a positive attitude and teamwork. Work cohesively with vendor groups and communicate effectively. Possess strong grammar, writing, proofreading skills, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Remain flexible with tasks, available after hours and on weekends as needed, and adapt to changing priorities. Uphold a strong commitment to hospitality standards. Apply to Flik today!
