We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our finance team at Rankings.io. Reporting directly to the CFO, this entry-level role will provide critical support in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The Financial Analyst will assist with creating budgets, forecasting growth, analyzing trends, and preparing reports that inform strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics who is eager to apply strong analytical and mathematical skills in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of financial statements, forecasts, and management reports. Support budget creation and variance analysis across departments. Analyze revenue, expenses, and key business drivers to identify trends and insights. Build and maintain financial models under CFO guidance. Help track and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) across the business. Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support decision-making. Collaborate with the CFO on long-range planning, cash flow projections, and risk analysis. Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, investments, and cost-saving opportunities. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (required). Strong mathematical, quantitative, and analytical problem-solving skills. High proficiency with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets (financial modeling experience a plus). Familiarity with financial concepts (budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, etc.). Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data insights clearly. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
