Are you a project management pro with automotive industry knowledge and a passion for technology adoption? We are seeking a driven and highly organized Dealership Software Installation Business Project Manager to lead the end-to-end deployment of new dealership management software solutions. This is a critical, one-year contract role, and the successful candidate can be based anywhere in the US. You will serve as the operational lead, overseeing the coordination and facilitation of software installation projects. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will partner with automotive dealership leadership, cross-functional teams, and external software vendors to ensure a seamless and successful transition. Your focus will be on delivering projects on time, within scope, and driving user adoption so dealerships can maximize the value of their new technology with minimal business disruption. You must enjoy travel and be open to work nontraditional hours during "go-live" events. salary: $48 - $54 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: Bachelors Responsibilities • Lead and coordinate all phases of software installation, from planning to post-installation support. • Serve as the main liaison between dealership staff, software vendors, and the consulting team, ensuring clear communication and stakeholder buy-in. • Oversee the technical installation and integration of systems (e.g., finance, inventory, CRM), and rapidly troubleshoot issues. • Design and deliver engaging training experiences (in-person and virtual) to guide dealership teams through new software functionality and best practices. • Maintain comprehensive records and contribute to the continuous improvement of deployment processes. • Ensure all project timelines and milestones are met within scope. • Be open to traveling to client sites up to 90% of the time.
