job summary: A Senior Supply Planner is needed for a multinational corporation that is involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and worldwide marketing and sales of athletic apparel, equipment, accessories, and services in the Beaverton, OR area. This job manages the entire inventory lifecycle for a specific business segment by forecasting demand, overseeing purchasing, and collaborating with various teams to ensure supply aligns with marketplace needs. location: Beaverton, Oregon job type: Contract salary: $35.71 - 45.00 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: • End-to-End Planning: Oversee regular purchasing of finished goods to support strategic consumer and product goals. • Inventory Management: Create purchase orders, optimize supply parameters, and make proactive decisions to maintain healthy inventory levels. • Collaboration: Partner with various internal and external teams (e.g., Brand, Merchandising, Supply Chain) to ensure alignment on inventory targets and delivery expectations. • Data Analysis & Reporting: Use reports and dashboards to track key metrics, identify risks, and drive solutions for on-time delivery and inventory productivity. • Problem-Solving: Resolve operational challenges and escalate issues to ensure timely purchasing and inventory health. • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance planning tools and practices. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in supply planning, inventory management, or a related supply chain role. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights. Technical Skills: • Analytical Mindset: strong ability to analyze large data sets. • Software Proficiency: strong Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, macros) are essential; familiarity with SAP ERP systems is preferred.
