job summary: Are you a DevOps expert looking to make a direct impact on the world of AAA gaming? Join our tools and infrastructure team as a Senior Software Engineer. This is a critical overnight role designed to support our global partners and ensure the stability of our game build pipelines. You will be the first line of defense in resolving blockers and optimizing the automation that brings world-class gaming titles to life. location: Telecommute job type: Contract salary: $45 - 50 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: - Execute day-to-day tasks to support the operations of the CI/CD pipelines of AAA games using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and Perforce - Routine maintenance such as updating auth tokens for services - Triage and resolve external partner issue - Mitigate issues blocking automation tasks from succeeding - Monitor and create alerts based on data from the build system - Drive data-backed improvements by identifying areas of improvement and recommend changes - Monitor and analyze metrics, traces, and logs across all CI/CD systems - Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and postmortems - Combine history and upcoming needs to ensure CI/CD capacity - Design and implement scripts or similar automation to streamline operations qualifications: 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and CI/CD (specifically Jenkins). 5+ years of experience with automation scripting using PowerShell or Python. 3+ years of experience with data solutions for monitoring (SQL or Azure Data Lake). Proven experience with Perforce source control. Strong background in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues. Preferred Qualifications Experience within the gaming industry, specifically with Unreal Engine. Knowledge of C++ or C# development. Familiarity with Azure cloud environments.
