Join our clients high-impact team supporting the critical Facility Operations of a national retail and supply chain giant! This Remote opportunity is your chance to play an integral role in maintaining seamless facility function for over 900 retail stores and 40+ supply chain buildings. Our client is seeking a proactive individual to be the steady hand managing emergency and scheduled maintenance after hours and on weekends. Your Impactful Responsibilities in Facility Maintenance: • Lead the after-hours maintenance support by monitoring all incoming On-Call Facilities requests , addressing emergency break-fix needs like broken locks, doors, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC issues. • Resolve critical facility issues by approving repair requests within established spending limits and ensuring the timely dispatch of service providers using the ServiceChannel or similar Work Order System. • Coordinate and implement repair work efficiently, balancing sound judgment with company cost and repair guidelines to optimize Facility Maintenance operations. • Maintain meticulous documentation, reconciling reports and service activity to ensure data accuracy and support seamless handoffs to the day team. • Communicate clearly and effectively with both internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure all parties are informed of progress and resolution. Qualifications & Essential Skills: Our client is looking for a results-oriented professional with demonstrated proficiency in: • 3+ years working as a On-Call Facilities Maintenance Coordinator for a large corporation. • Knowledge in handyman-type repairs (e.g., electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics) to inform approval decisions. • Proven experience using work order systems, including ServiceChannel, or processing Purchase Orders (PO’s). • Excellent phone and email communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex situations to technical and non-technical audiences. • Work Schedule: Wed–Fri (4:00 PM - 10:00 PM EST) and Sat–Sun (9:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST).
