job summary: Client seeks a detail-oriented Finance Data Master to lead data governance and quality initiatives within finance and procurement, ensuring the integrity and compliance of supplier and financial data. The role involves establishing policies, conducting audits, and leveraging automation to improve data accuracy, standardization, and vendor management. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience in data governance, finance operations, and procurement systems, with a focus on driving operational efficiency and data compliance. location: Telecommute job type: Contract to Perm salary: $65 - 67 per hour work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: 1. Develop and enforce data governance frameworks and policies to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and compliance of supplier and financial data across systems. 2. Lead data cleansing initiatives, identify and resolve data anomalies, and implement controls to prevent duplication and errors in supplier master data. 3. Monitor procurement activities to ensure adherence to vendor governance protocols, conduct audits, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for vendor consolidation. qualifications: 1. Minimum 5 years of experience in data governance, finance operations, or procurement data management, with proficiency in ERP systems like Oracle and cloud-based platforms such as Coupa. 2. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Data Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 3. (Preferred) Certification in Data Governance or Data Management (e.g., DAMA, DCAM) and experience with automation tools to enhance data quality and validation.
