Join a professional and safety-focused company as our new Administrative Assistant. This essential role provides crucial clerical and administrative support to our General Manager and Assistant GM within the Sales Clerical department. We are looking for a highly organized individual who possesses excellent computer skills, particularly intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, along with advanced knowledge of phone systems and desktop operations. Your main responsibilities will include managing phone calls, greeting visitors, coordinating meetings, and handling all branch paperwork, including scanning and mail. We seek someone who maintains a professional demeanor at all times and has time management and attention to detail. This is a full-time/part-time, non-exempt position —apply today to become a core part of our team! salary: $18 - $20 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: No Degree Required Responsibilities General Overview This position involves manual labor work in warehouse operations and its associated processing equipment. Work includes responsibility for stock control, storage, distribution, processing, and receipt of inventory. The work requires some degree of independence and judgment operating under well-defined written policies and procedures. This is a non-supervisory position and performs under the direct supervision of the shift supervisor at the direction of the plant superintendent and general manager. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Manage phone calls and route calls to appropriate party. • Greet and assist visitors. • Coordinate/schedule meetings. • Assist branch management with tasks associated with onboarding new employees. • Scanning/Uploading of branch paperwork. • Sort/distribute inbound mail and UPS; preparation of outbound mail. • Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times. • Assist branch management with special projects. • Other administrative/clerical tasks as assigned.
