Location: Remote Employment Type: Temporary-to-Permanent (6-month contract length) Pay Rate: $18.00 / hour Role Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Sales Contracting & Compensation Service Specialist to join our team. This is a crucial remote, temp-to-perm role responsible for providing expert support and resolution services related to agent/broker contracts, compensation, and production issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong working knowledge of sales contracting and commission processes and systems to ensure seamless operations and high-quality customer service for our field force. Key Responsibilities • Service & Resolution (Primary Contact): Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, independent contractors, and internal departments to research, explain, and resolve complex commission, production, and contracting-related inquiries (including agent/group setup, billing/premium, and Schedule A’s). • Registration & Onboarding: Handle field force and broker registration requests from various internal teams (Customer Service, IT, Sales Resolution), including setting up authorized users, email accounts, password resets, appointing brokers/associates, and running background checks. Assist with onboarding new contracting team members. • Transaction Processing & Review: Accurately process point-of-call transactions and serve as the initial point of contact for internal and external queries. Review and research daily error transactions, discrepancies, and report variances to maintain accurate associate records and reconcile accounts. • Compliance & Confidentiality: Maintain working knowledge of Aflac's contract and commissions policies, ensuring all procedures and agent information remain strictly confidential and align with the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. • Collaboration & Escalation: Partner with more experienced team members to resolve the most complex issues and may serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for departmental projects and initiatives. Qualifications & Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent and four years of job-related work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Working knowledge of Sales Contracting and Commissions processes and procedures (Required). • Working knowledge of Field Contracting and Commissions, Everwell (Level 1 Certification), Broker Services, Field Force Services Registration, Contest and Bonuses information, and Online Billing processes. • Proficiency with Microsoft software, Business Objects, Taxport, and Document Direct. Skills & Competencies • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills for effective interaction and problem resolution with internal and external customers. • Ability to apply a broad knowledge of principles, concepts, and procedures related to associate/agent licensing. • Excellent attention to detail for processing transactions and reconciling accounts. • Experience providing customer services in a call center or similar work environment (Preferred).
