Rancho BioSciences is looking for a driven and strategic Business Account Manager to join our expanding global team. In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving growth across a number of existing and key accounts within the life sciences sector. You'll collaborate with a world-class team of data scientists, curators, modelers, computational biologists and developers who are passionate about delivering innovative solutions that make a real impact on human health. This is a remote position anywhere in North America or offering the flexibility to work from home while supporting high-impact pharmaceutical, academic, and institutional science programs. Key Responsibilities: As a Business Account Manager at Rancho BioSciences, you'll be at the forefront of our client engagement strategy-serving as both a trusted advisor and a strategic partner to organizations across the pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic sectors. Your role will be dynamic, blending business development and sales strategy with account & relationship management, to drive meaningful growth and long-term client success. You will be expected to: • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the pharmaceutical and life sciences industries • Engage clients to understand key challenges and goals, to support the design of service-delivered solutions powered by Rancho's deep domain expertise • Manage and grow existing client accounts, ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnerships • Represent Rancho BioSciences with professionalism and deep industry knowledge • Collaborate with internal teams to align client needs with Rancho's capabilities • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipeline progress within our CRM • Contribute to development and execution of plans for target accounts, delivering maximum impact and insights into opportunity for growth • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and client challenges • Travel regularly (up to 50%) with time on-site with clients, and at conferences & trade shows, driving the promotional efforts of the organization Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree (BSc) or other advanced degree in a scientific field OR related field with additional relevant experience • Minimum 3-5 years of successful sales experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas • Experience selling professional services and managing large deal volumes • Strong communication and negotiation skills (written and verbal) • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and able to work independently within a collaborative team • Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and PowerPoint Why Join Rancho Biosciences? • Work with a respected leader in Life Sciences data services • Be part of a mission-driven team making a real impact on human health • Enjoy a flexible remote work environment • Engage with cutting-edge data and technologies • Grow professionally in a fast-paced, innovative setting
