Customer Account Executives are responsible for driving revenue by owning the Plus expansion motion across multiple customer segments. They will work alongside Account Managers to generate new opportunities and deepen usage of Ramp's products.
Candidates should have a minimum of 4 years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets. Strong skills in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals, along with excellent communication abilities, are essential.

About the Role Customer Account Executives are responsible for the cross-sell and up-sell of Ramp Plus (our paid product). You will be working along with the Account Managers to work deals within the entire Ramp customer base of over 50,000! You have the opportunity to help drive this new motion as we scale the team & begin owning the sale of other products such as AP & Treasury. What You’ll Do Drive revenue for Ramp by owning the Plus expansion motion across multiple customer segments. You will directly own a revenue target for your book of business. Sell alongside the Account Managers team and act as a specialist for the Ramp Plus product suite. Outbound and hunt directly into the customer base to generate net new opportunities. Operate with an exceptional amount of urgency and attention to detail. Build and nurture strong relationships with C-suite executives and finance/accounting professionals to understand their pain points and priorities to deepen usage of Ramp. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Product Marketing, Data, etc.) to improve our processes and overall impact on the business. What You’ll Need Minimum 4 years of quota-carrying direct SaaS sales experience in a full cycle closing role with strong prospecting, qualifying, negotiating, and closing skills Experience closing upwards of 20 deals a quarter, with an average deal size about 50K in ACV Ability to discuss Ramp's value proposition with C-level executives, finance teams, and decision makers Experience with outbound prospecting and conducting product demonstrations Consultative sales approach and comfortable leveraging analytical & quantitative skills Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced environment High adaptability and understanding of change within the evolution of a startup Excellent verbal and written communication skills Nice to Haves Experience with Accounting Software (e.g. Netsuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and/or Accounting (CPA) Experience with financial services sales Experience with free to paid upsells.
