What you’ll do • Greet and engage customers with a warm and inviting attitude, ensuring they feel welcome from the moment they arrive. • Take accurate food and beverage orders, utilizing Toast POS systems to ensure seamless transactions. • Prepare and serve food items while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, guaranteeing a delightful dining experience. • Handle cash transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling practices throughout your shift. • Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and boost sales, showcasing your knowledge of our offerings. • Buss tables promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area for guests. • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while managing time effectively during busy periods. • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Skills To thrive in this role, you should possess: • Strong culinary experience with a passion for food preparation and presentation. • Proficiency in Aloha POS or Micros POS systems for efficient order processing. • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. • Proven sales abilities with experience in upselling menu items effectively. • Solid understanding of food handling practices and sanitation regulations to ensure safety compliance. • Previous experience in the food service industry, particularly in quick service or fast food restaurants. • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math applications. • A friendly demeanor with outstanding customer service skills that create positive interactions.
